Kingston Business School Kingston Business School is a key part of Kingston University, the largest higher education provider in South West London, with more than 22,000 students enrolled on full and part-time courses. We are one of the biggest business schools in the UK with approximately 4,000 students. Location Kingston Business School is located in the picturesque Kingston-upon-Thames, London’s happiest and safest area just 25 minutes from London Waterloo station and the hustle and bustle of one of the best known cities in the world. Kingston is a historical town dating back to the 9th century, full of history and heritage, but with many modern facilities including one of London’s best shopping areas, and easy access to central London. First-class facilities Kingston Business School moved into a new purpose-built building in April 2012. This investment in the new building is part of ongoing investment in campus facilities and demonstrates our commitment to enhancing all aspects of the student experience. Accreditation of our courses We were the first business school in the world to receive triple accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) across our portfolio of general management masters and doctoral courses. Many of our postgraduate programmes are accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development while others are recognised by professional bodies. The excellent quality of our teaching Kingston Business School has been awarded an ‘excellent’ rating for its teaching by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, and many members of our teaching staff are active in professional practice. World class research Ninety per cent of research at Kingston Business School is classed as ‘internationally recognised’, or higher, by the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) which seeks to assess the quality of research in universities. Of this, 10% was classified as ‘world leading’ and 35% ‘internationally excellent’.
